Judy & Don, generous donors like you have enabled us to donate nearly $294,000 in support of 141 local projects in our first nine years. We thank you, on behalf of the thousands of individuals in the greater Venice area whose lives have been changed through the work of our local charitable partners.

Gary & Diane, your generosity is inspiring. We thank you, on behalf of the 58 different local organizations we have supported in our brief history, and the many more we will support in the future. 

Founder Angela Massaro-Fain and Client Relations Manager Kristie O'Kon of Grapevine Communications in Sarasota. When the Foundation Board decided to incorporate the Club's new logo into its own, we asked Grapevine for help. They provided a range of font choices and we agreed with their recommendations.  Free of charge, Grapevine provided materials for all of our communications.

 

 

 

 

Melissa Caldwell of Premier Sotheby's Internationl Realty and Kelly Caldwell of Caldwell Trust Company for sponsoring our last three annual Putting Contests. Their sponsorship made the event possible by covering the full cost of the hole-in-one insurance premium as well as all Golf Shop credits to the winning contestants.

 

 

 

 

 

Our thanks also go to Brian Painter and the Golf staff, Jim Schell and the Club staff, and all the volunteers who organized and ran the event, including Foundation Development chair Marti Campbell, event co-chairs Joel and Debra D'Arcy, Communications co-chairs Maureen Heakin and Chris Madigan, and registration/scoring coordinators Karen Felfoldy, Sherry Gelmine Lane and Larraine Testa.

The Master Association and all who contributed food, props, raffle prizes and their time and effort to the 2014 Spring Fling.

 

The event raised nearly $3200, which will be awarded to local charities at the Foundation's annual grants luncheon next March.

Irene Harlem won the $3500 top prize at the 2014 Reverse Raffle.  She donated the entire amount back to the Foundation, in memory of her husband Bob Harlem, who was instrumental in creating the Foundation in 2005.
